‘Inadequate allocation for farm sector in budget’

The Kakatiya University Post-Graduate College organised a panel discussion on ‘Union Budget 2015 and its Apprehensions’. Principal V.V.S Sharma inaugurated the programme at the Jayashankar seminar hall on Wednesday.
The budget will help generate employment in the corporate sector. However, sadly the budget did not focus much on the agricultural development on which majority depend, he said. Senior teacher Prof K. Vijaya Babu too echoed similar feelings. Students of commerce Anusha Reddy, Kruthi and Mounica gave an excellent powerpoint presentation on the union budget. Students of other disciplines also opined that the budget should have focused more on the development of education in the country. Teachers and non-teaching staff members expressed their views on the occasion. Faculty members Prof. Kusuma, Rajender, Raju, Sheshu, Ramesh, Saritha and Yakaiah Kathy were present in the program me.
